- Switchboard: A control unit that evaluates the states of individual sensors.
- PIR detectors: Passive infrared sensors responding to temperature changes (human movement).
- Magnetic contacts: They watch for the opening of doors and windows.
- Emergency buttons: They allow the staff (e.g. at the reception) to immediately call for help in the event of an attack.
Intruder alarms and security staff
For effective protection, it is crucial to set up in advance where the alarm goes, who verifies it and who physically responds on the spot. Without a follow-up procedure, the PZTS is only a local alarm that intruders often ignore.
