Training and qualification of security workers

A good security guard is not only a physical presence. It is a person who understands the law, can deal with people and knows what to do when a situation becomes complicated. This is how we train and prepare our people.

Why we care what workers can do

Most security incidents do not arise from an inability to handle a situation physically. They arise from poor legal knowledge, poor communication or because the worker did not know how to deal with an aggressive person before the situation escalated.

A worker mistake is an agency mistake. And an agency mistake is a problem for you. That is why we invest in training, not as a marketing claim, but as prevention of problems that would create unnecessary trouble for everyone.

Legal obligation - NSK certificate for every worker
Initial training before first deployment
Regular repetition of mandatory topics
Situational exercises from real scenarios
Individual performance assessment in the field
Path to specialisation (dog handler, supervisor, CPO)

What our training includes

Six key areas that every worker goes through from onboarding and repeats regularly.

NSK 68-008-E - Security guard

The basic professional qualification for security guard work in Czechia. A legal condition for everyone working in security. It includes theory and practical testing.

Legal framework and powers

Limits of necessary defence, conditions for detaining a person, rights and duties of a security guard. Regularly updated according to current legislation.

De-escalation and communication

Verbal calming techniques, proxemics and recognition of dangerous situations. We train through model situations, not only from text.

First aid

Basics of pre-medical first aid, resuscitation and recovery position. A worker must know what to do in the first minutes before emergency services arrive.

OHS and fire protection

Occupational safety and fire protection are legal obligations. Training takes place during onboarding and repeatedly during cooperation.

Situational exercises

Simulations of real scenarios: aggressive guests, suspicious people, evacuation and communication with emergency services. Practical work that a textbook cannot replace.

FAQ

What we ask before we start

Security cannot be set up sensibly without the basic facts. These are the points we clarify for most enquiries.

What qualification must a security guard have?
For security work, legal authorisation and the real ability to handle a shift in practice are essential. A certificate is the basis, but by itself it is not enough if a person cannot communicate or follow the site regime.
How does initial training of a new worker work?
First, basic rules, occupational safety, communication, first aid and incident procedures are covered. Then comes the specific assignment: who leads the service, what is monitored and how a problem is reported.
How often are workers retested?
Mandatory topics are repeated according to legislation and internal rules. We add practical operational situations because on shift, the key factor is how a person reacts in a specific moment.
Do you also train conflict de-escalation?
Yes. Good security is not about toughness, but about reading the situation early, calm communication and the ability to separate a problem before it pulls in more people around it.
Must a worker know the legal framework?
Yes. A security guard must know where their powers end, how to proceed when detaining a person, when to call the police and how to handle information or records. An unclear procedure is a risk for both the client and the agency.

Do agency qualifications matter to you?
