MotoGP in Brno brings a large number of fans to the Masaryk circuit and concentrates the movement of visitors at the entrances, in the surrounding traffic and in selected parts of the area. The security regime must therefore take into account the movement of visitors during the entire race weekend. Bravion participated in the event in cooperation with Cechymen.
At the race weekend, safety does not only take place during the program itself. Visitors move around the premises, in the surrounding zones and in the surrounding area at different times of the day. Therefore, the team must work patiently, stick to the agreed roles and pass on information in such a way that the traffic does not fall apart between individual parts of the event.
Challenge: Large area and multi-day mode
Race weekend means several days of increased traffic. The risks are specific:
- Supervision of the extensive campus and entry regime.
- Security in camps where people move outside the main program.
- Traffic and parking mode support according to the organizer's instructions.
Solutions and cooperation
As part of a wider security team in cooperation with Cechymen, Bravion participated in the supervision of selected sectors and stands.
It was important to maintain a uniform way of communicating with visitors and follow the schedule of the organizer. In a similar environment, it will quickly become clear whether the team understands its role and can keep the focus even outside the main highlights of the program.
Operational evaluation
The reference shows that for a similar type of event, continuity between teams, a clear division of roles and the ability to maintain an operational mode for several days are essential.
Bravion contributed to selected parts of the operation, followed the lead partner and helped maintain the setup that matters at a multi-day sports event for visitors and organisers.
