The university hockey battle brings a student audience and a distinct sports atmosphere to the Winning Group Arena. The task of the security service is to work with the atmosphere in the hall, the movement of visitors and the rules of the space. Bravion collaborated with Hellas Security agency on the event.
A student sports event has high energy but is also built on fan atmosphere. The security team therefore needs to be visible enough to support arena rules while working with the audience calmly and without unnecessary confrontation. Alignment with stewarding procedures, arena operations and other on-site teams is important.
Security Challenges
- Correct but strong approach to a young audience.
- Checking compliance with the entrance regime and hall rules.
- Supervision of fan sectors of individual universities.
Operational evaluation
The reference shows that the student sports event mainly needs a legible presence in the sectors, calm communication and continuity with the organizing regime of the hall. Bravion's involvement was part of a collaboration in which a uniform procedure and the ability to react appropriately to the atmosphere of the match are decisive.
What is important about the student audience
Student events tend to be noisy and energetic, but that in itself is not a problem. It is important for the security team to distinguish the normal sports atmosphere from situations that already require intervention or handover to the organizer. A visible presence, understandable rules and communication that does not escalate unnecessarily helps. That was the point of Bravion's involvement.
For the organizers, it is important to know that the team involved can follow the regime of the hall, respect the nature of the student event and work with the emotions in the audience objectively and without unnecessary confrontation.
Such cooperation is based on discipline in normal operation: being at the place on time, understanding one's role, sticking to the agreed schedule and passing on information without unnecessary noise.
