Ostraha majetku a osob belongs to the licensed trades in the Czech trade law. For the client, this is an important signal that the supplier should not function only as general "help", but as an entity meeting the legal conditions for security services.
What to check with the supplier
- whether he is authorized to guard property and persons,
- whether they can document liability, insurance and internal rules,
- whether the workers correspond to the type of service they are supposed to perform.
The concession itself does not say that the service is well set up. It is a basic entry requirement, which is followed by shift management, training, reporting and quality control.
A public register can confirm that a particular business holds the authorisation for the relevant trade. It does not automatically prove the extent of its experience, current insurance cover or who will manage the assignment. The relevant evidence must be checked separately and always for the same legal entity that will be named in the contract and on the invoice.
