Rock for People 2026 was a five-day deployment for Bravion in cooperation with Cechymen. With roughly 70 thousand visitors, the festival is so far the largest event Bravion has taken part in securing. The team had its own sector and worked on traffic around the site cladding in the airfield area, including the night departure regime.
The scope of the service was determined by the length of the event, the sector itself and the traffic around the enclosure of the area. The work required continuous presence in the field, the transmission of current information and follow-up to the agreed cooperation regime.
At night, the traffic regime was rotated when leaving. The routes used for the arrival were used for the departure of the vehicles, the opposite directions were monitored and the drivers were navigated according to the current situation in the sector.
At the same time, the area of the airport was guarded so that the defined parts would not be disturbed by festival visitors. Therefore, the surveillance did not only concern the movement of vehicles, but also the border between the festival traffic and the airport area.
Deployment also took place in rainy weather. This increased demands for orientation in space, patient communication and maintaining the set mode during the entire service.
Scope of deployment
- five days of service at Rock for People 2026,
- cooperation with Bohemia,
- own sector entrusted to the Bravion team,
- transport around the enclosure of the area in the airport area,
- night rotation of the departure mode of transport,
- monitoring of opposite directions and vehicle navigation,
- supervision of the airport area against the entry of festival visitors,
- rainy weather during deployment,
- hundreds of hours worked in total for the whole team.
Work in own sector
Own sector meant a clearly defined part of the service. The team concentrated on its section, followed the agreed procedure and handed over situations according to the operational needs of cooperation with Cechymen.
The traffic around the enclosure of the area in the airport area required a concentrated supervision of the progress of the service in the given place. When traveling at night, it was necessary to work with the direction of traffic reversed, watch for oncoming traffic and navigate the vehicles in such a way that the mode was legible for the driver.
The same sector also included the supervision of the airport area. The aim was to prevent the festival visitor from entering the defined part outside the festival traffic. In rainy weather, it was important to keep the regimen consistent throughout the deployment.
Operational evaluation
The reference shows the type of service where a clearly taken over sector, continuity with the partner and sufficient endurance of the team during multi-day operation are important. Over five days, the Bravion team worked hundreds of hours.
