National Finals Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026 brought a big open-air dance battle to the center of Brno. The event took place on June 27, 2026 on the piazzetta in front of the Janacek Theater and the internal operational estimate worked with approximately 3 to 4 thousand visitors. The jury did not decide who advanced, but the audience, which is an essential part of the atmosphere and operational dynamics for this format.

For Bravion, it was about direct implementation. The deployment ran for four days, from 25 to 28 June, from site preparation through the event day to the clear-out. At the peak of the programme the team numbered 22 people: site supervision, entrance regime support, visitor flow work, calm communication with the audience and coordination with production.

Public event in the center of Brno

Red Bull Dance Your Style is a dance format built on one-on-one battles and immediate audience response. In Brno, 16 dancers made it to the national final, taking turns in front of a large audience right in the city. Publicly available information about the event lists the piazzetta in front of the Janacek Theater, the program from the afternoon and the finale with the winner Sebastian.

For the security team, a similar type of event is particularly challenging due to the combination of free outdoor space, strong audience interest, technical background, movement of performers and the need to maintain traffic around the stage. It is not only about the visible presence of security, but about the continuous reading of the situation in the crowd.

Direct implementation: Bravion had responsibility for the complete security of the event, not just partial assistance in partner mode.

Service scope

  • security supervision over the defined area of the event,
  • entry mode support and work at barriers,
  • crowd management around the stage and visitor routes,
  • checking the technical and operational background according to production needs,
  • calm communication with visitors during the day and evening part of the program,
  • operational response to changes in space load according to the progress of battles.

The biggest issue of the day: heat

The final day came with extreme heat, and an overheated crowd was a bigger risk than the programme itself. The team continuously handled visitor collapses: it kept corridors clear for medics and handed cases over from the crowd. Firefighters helped too, cooling the audience with a hose during the hottest hours. Situations like these show why an open-air event cannot do without pre-agreed coordination with medics and firefighters.

Operational evaluation

The event showed that the combination of space preparation and live work in the field is decisive for the urban open-air format. At a time when the audience moves according to the program, the music and the view of the stage, the team must maintain legible boundaries, flow and calm communication.

Bravion acted as a direct supplier of security here. This meant clear responsibility for the composition of the service, ongoing supervision and follow-up to the organization of the event. The same principle is transferable to other city events, sports fan zones, corporate events or open-air programs with a high concentration of visitors.
