Den Kozla in Velke Popovice is a day-long brewery festival with music and a family programme. Bravion took part in the event in cooperation with Cechymen a.s.

Challenge: All-day program and visitor traffic

Goat Day in Velke Popovice is a traditional event with music, refreshments and an all-day program. The combination of a longer program, alcohol and a large number of people brings specific operational risks. The goal of the service was to work preventively and to report situations that could disrupt the program in a timely manner.

Solution: Involvement in operation of the event

In collaboration with Cechymen a.s. the Bravion team participated in selected parts of the operation of the event and preventive supervision in the area.

At brewery festivals, it is important to work with visitors in such a way that the security service does not act unnecessarily hard, but at the same time is able to detect situations that could disrupt the program in time. It is essential to have a legible presence in the area, communication with the organizer and a reasonable procedure in case of common conflicts.

Operational evaluation

The involvement of the team focused on a calm mode of the event without being unnecessarily harsh towards the visitors. Similar actions require a preventive approach, which you can read more about in the article about security at festivals.

For an all-day festival, the security work varies according to the time of day and the program. Supervision looks different at the time of the family program, different in the later part of the day, when visitors' fatigue increases and alcohol affects their behavior more. It is important not to wait for a conflict, but to work preventively: to be visible, to communicate politely and to involve the organizer in time where the usual agreement is not enough.

Bravion participated in the event in cooperation with Cechymen a.s. and contributed to traffic that should be natural, comprehensible and appropriate for the type of celebration for visitors.

Such involvement is especially valuable when the team keeps to the agreed regime and supports the organizers without unnecessarily disrupting the visitor atmosphere.
