Challenge: Safety in the forest and in the arena
The World Cup in Nove Mesto in Moravia is a large-scale event in challenging terrain. It was important to maintain the safe movement of spectators along the long forest track and at the same time to keep the regime in the background of the competitors.
Solution: involvement in track traffic
In collaboration with Cechymen a.s. team participated in covering selected sections of the event.
For a sports event in a rugged outdoor area, it is important that spectators understand movement around the course and that the security setup adapts to the race programme. Bravion involvement followed organiser rules, the work of other teams and the need to keep operations calm both in the arena and in connected parts of the site.

Operational evaluation
The reference shows the importance of clear instructions for spectators, supervision of the route and follow-up with the organizers in a fragmented outdoor area. You can find more information about sports events in the section Sports event security.
A specific feature of mountain bikes is that the spectators are not concentrated in just one place. They move between the arena, the track and the background, often in terrain that in itself makes demands on orientation. Therefore, the safety team must communicate simply, keep track of the entrusted part and respect the progress of the race. It is this combination of sport, terrain and visitor movement that gives such an event a different character than an indoor match.
Bravion participated in the part of the operation, where orientation in the field, knowledge of the assigned role and the ability to follow up with the organizer are decisive. It was important to work in a changing outdoor environment and to communicate calmly with visitors and the organizing team.
Bravion was not a separate management team for the entire event. The value of the involvement was in the follow-up to the joint regime and in mastering the assigned parts of the operation.
