Bruce Springsteen's concert in Prague took place in the Letnany complex. For the security service, this meant several hours of continuous supervision, managing the movement of visitors and cooperating with other teams.
Bravion participated in the security operation in cooperation with No Limit Security. The involvement concerned selected parts of the area's operation, where it was necessary to maintain an understandable regime for visitors and at the same time follow up with the organizers, the health service and other teams.
Challenges of a long concert
The three-hour show places high demands on the physical and mental endurance of the staff, as well as the fans. The main risk is fatigue, dehydration and collapse in the crowd.
That is why it is important that the surveillance is not only focused on the beginning of the action. Attention must remain the same even in the later stages of the program, when the movement of visitors changes and fatigue increases. At an open-air concert, the passability of the main routes and quiet communication when leaving are also decisive.
Security Strategy
The security operation took place in cooperation with No Limit Security. The role of the involved team was defined within the overall plan.
- Preventive patrols: Teams in the crowd watched for situations that might have required the help of medics or organizers.
- Background and stage: Surveillance of non-public parts according to the set action mode.
- Exit mode: Continuous routing of visitors after the end of the program.
Operational evaluation
The reference shows the importance of persistent work throughout the event, a clear division of roles and continuity with other components of the operation. You can find more information about the security regime at events in the section Event security.
