Indicative security rates typically start at CZK 250 per hour per guard. The final price always reflects the service type, number of people, deployment length and the responsibility the supplier takes on site. A one-off event is priced differently from long-term site security or night construction guarding.
What the price of security depends on
- the number of staff and team roles (guard, shift leader, event commander),
- shift length and layout: day, night, weekend or holiday operation,
- operational risk and the experience required of the people,
- location, transport and team accommodation for away deployments,
- reporting, record-keeping and performance control requirements,
- cover staffing, so a missed shift does not endanger the operation.
What the hourly rate should include
A serious rate covers the wage including statutory contributions, liability insurance, basic equipment, contract management and the agreed reporting. An offer far below statutory wage costs is a warning sign: savings are made on people, insurance or cover staffing, and it shows in operation sooner or later.
Price by service type
Site security: for a long-term shift service, the number of posts, night regime and patrol scope decide. Service setup details are described on the object security.
Event security: for events, the price consists of the number of stewards and security staff, programme length and number of entrances. A multi-day festival with night operation is a different calculation from a one-day corporate event; the scope is described on the event security.
Construction guarding: for a construction site, what matters is the perimeter size, vehicle entry records and whether guarding runs around the clock or only outside working hours and at weekends.
Reception and gatehouse: regular daytime operation tends to be the most stable in price; night supervision, building systems and cover requirements change the calculation.
Personal protection: the rate grows with programme risk, the number of transfers and the need for a multi-member team or a driver.
Why agency offers differ so much
Two offers with the same hourly rate can cover a completely different scope. The difference is usually whether night and weekend surcharges are included, who leads the service, how cover staffing works and what the supplier commits to. How an offer is built in detail is described in the article how security pricing works.
How to compare offers without surprises
- ask for a breakdown of roles and shifts, not just one number,
- check what is in the rate: surcharges, transport, equipment, reporting,
- ask who leads the service and how a staff outage is handled,
- for events, ask for a named event commander and a procedure for changes during the programme,
- compare liability insurance and verifiable references.
How to get a specific price
Indicative rates and offer items are available in the security price list. For events, you can estimate the team size in advance in the security calculator. We prepare a specific offer after you send the place, date and a short scope through the contact form.
